The Lough Lannagh Pedestrian Bridge Project required the design, fabrication and delivery to site of a 40m long single span steel pedestrian bridge. This Contractor Designed Structure is now the focal point of Lough Lannagh which is an area of outstanding natural beauty in Castlebar, County Mayo.
- The bridge provides access from the Castlebar side of the Lough to the recreational areas and playgrounds of lough Lannagh on the opposite side.
- The project necessitated the construction of piled foundation abutments.
- Significant accommodation works to get the bridge superstructure to the construction location.
