Upgrading of the existing treatment plant and improvement works at the Intake Works and Pumping Station.
The existing Lough Mask Treatment Plant is designed to cater for 27,300m3/day and is currently operating at capacity. Treatment capacity is to increase to 40,600m3/day.
The upgrading of the existing treatment plant includes,
- Additional settlement and filtration elements and also necessitated improvement works at the Intake Works and Pumping Station
- Duplication of the Rising Main to cater for increased flows to the treatment plant.
- Ward & Burke Construction were responsible for all civil design and construction.
- The M&E works were carried out by Response Engineering Ltd.
