We are currently recruiting an accounts administrator for our Head Office, Kilcolgan, Galway. This position entails supporting our busy, expanding finance department with administration and accounts tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious, growing main contractor and work with like-minded people.
Duties to include but not limited to
- Entering data on excel spreadsheet.
- Updating and maintaining database.
- Providing cover for annual leave.
- Downloading / printing and sorting invoices.
- General administration and support to the accounts payable team.
Skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft excel essential
- Previous experience in a busy accounts payable environment preferred.
- Strong communication and IT skills are essential.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, data entry and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative with a strong work ethic is important.
- Team player with can do attitude.
- Experience in construction is an advantage but not necessary.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30 -5.00 (4.30 Friday)
