Ward & Burke are seeking a highly motivated and talented Civil or Structural Engineering Graduate to join our dynamic team. As a graduate engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including water and wastewater structures for the utilities sector.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop detailed designs for temporary and permanent works.
- Assist in performing structural analysis and calculations to ensure projects meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist in preparing project reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Utilise engineering software and tools to model and simulate project components effectively such as Scia Engineer finite element analysis, Plaxis, AutoCAD, Revit etc.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate and integrate various aspects of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering trends, codes, and standards to ensure compliance and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Strong academic background with a focus on structural analysis, design principles, and construction methods.
- Solid understanding of civil and structural engineering theories and practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
