Maintenance Mechanical Field Service Engineer

Ward and Burke are seeking a service and maintenance mechanical field service engineer for the Cork / Clare and Galway / Roscommon regions. The ideal candidate would be a qualified mechanical fitter preferably with experience on mechanical maintenance of commercial, industrial and municipal wastewater and water treatment plants and pump stations.

Responsibilities

• The role will primarily involve installation and maintenance works in the water and wastewater industry
• Carryout routine maintenance and repair of domestic WwTP’s, packaged municipal & commercial WwTP’s and pump stations
• Fault finding and problem resolution in general
• Installation and commissioning in line with industry standards
• Completion of service report sheets
• Completion of daily reports and H&S forms as required for day to day works on site

Skills & Attributes

• Qualified mechanical fitter with experience in wastewater and water maintenance
• Technical knowledge and proven experience in working with pumps, mixers, air blowers and other mechanical equipment
• Fault finding in general
• Familiarity with treatment process’s being utilised in the water and wastewater industry
• Good communication skills

Education Requirement

• Time served mechanical maintenance fitter

Additional Requirements

• Full clean drivers licence
• Safepass Training
• Confined space training desirable

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
