Heavy Construction Plant Fitter

The Role:

Maintaining various construction plant owned by the company.

The fleet consists of Liebherr, Tadano and Kobelco cranes, Caterpillar, Kubota and Kobelco Excavators. Thwaites site dumpers and various other small plant. The role is mostly site based, covering the southern region of the UK – mainly Hampshire and Sussex regions. Candidate will be initially based out of Havant Portsmouth for the duration of a 2 year project and eventually Denham London.

Experience:

• At least 4 years in a construction Plant Fitter role.
• References must be available.

Requirements:

• A Good understanding of machinery electrical systems.
• Ability to plan your own work schedule and parts requirements.
• Experience with Texa and Factory diagnostic tools would be advantageous, however training can be provided.
• Carry out planned servicing and breakdown repairs on construction plant.
• Carry out Crane rigging and De-Rigging Operations.
• Basic welding Skills.

Job Offer

• Hourly rate £22 to £24 pounds depending on Experience
• PAYE Position, 27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays paid.
• Based on a 50 hour, 5 day week, overtime will be available.
• A Van and Tools, phone, fuel card and Laptop to be provided along with any training you may need on diagnostics or Plant.
