Construction Estimator

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to prepare cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects with a focus on underground utilities & structures. The estimator will review project plans, gather pricing, and develop accurate bids to support winning contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans and specifications.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
• Work with project managers and engineers to develop bids.
• Solicitation of subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Maintain estimating databases and documentation.
• Participation in the production of draft content for written proposals.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 2-5 years’ experience estimating heavy civil construction projects preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full Time, In-person.

Location: Georgetown, Texas 78626, United States

Salary: $90,000.00 – $140,000.00 USD per year.
