Experienced CAD / BIM Technician

We are seeking an experienced CAD / BIM Technician to join our Leeds team, working on MEICA construction projects within the wastewater and water treatment sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality, scaled technical drawings, including layouts for Civil & MEICA installations that include pipework, metalwork, cable containment, concrete structures, roads, and permanent access fabrications (PAF).
• Support project teams by managing and updating design documentation within SharePoint and Cloud-Based Common Data Environments (such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or ProjectWise).
• Work with design engineers to implement BIM standards, including correct file naming, drawing revisions, and status updates.
• Assist in the production of intelligent P&IDs and Plant 3D models as part of our digital design process.

Essential Requirements:

• Industry experience in water/wastewater design or a qualification in civil/mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, with a portfolio of clear, tidy, and technically accurate drawings.
• Experience with Revit or similar 3D BIM tools (Plant 3D / P&ID experience is a strong advantage).
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans, file naming conventions, and structured workflows for document revisions.
• Comfortable working in an ISO-accredited environment, often under tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently, communicate effectively, and take ownership of deliverables.

• Occasional site visits required to support design verification and coordination
